Leonardo was born, raised and trained in Italy. After majoring in scientific studies and attending a year in college, he decided to pursue a career as a chef. He attended “ALMA-la scuola internazionale di cucina italiana”, Italy’s top ranking culinary school and within the top 3 worldwide, and collected an array of experiences in many prestigious Michelin star restaurants all over Italy. He worked in Paris for a year and in Luxembourg for two, where he developed his own sensitivity at the court of renown chef Ilaria Mosconi. He moved to New York in November 2016 and served as sous chef and chef de cuisine at “Osteria della pace” at Eataly downtown. He has since pursued a career as a private chef both in NYC and the Hamptons as he chooses to focus on a tailor made experience for his guests and patrons.
