During his thirty-year career in restaurant hospitality, Chef Lance also has worked as a Personal Chef. Unlike many sought-after professionals in the field, he has the distinction of being self-taught as a master in the culinary arts. It’s also safe to say that comfort in the kitchen is in his genes: Lance has followed in his father’s footsteps as a chef.
Chef Lance found his calling in the joy of cooking when he began raising his family. Cooking family meals came naturally and ignited in him a previously unrecognized passion and innate talent. Lance notes: “I had never realized how much a good meal is important to a good family life. And now it is my pleasure to share that same spirit with others in the Long Island community.”
Chef Lance formerly served as the owner of Prestige Personal Chef Service, which provided “take-home chef” services for major events, dinner parties, holidays, weddings, and the like. His motto: “You only need to invite your guests, pick out your outfit, choose the wine and then let the evening begin!”
Today, Chef Lance continues to fulfill that mission in the Hamptons, maintaining his beloved persona as a pro who makes any occasion entertaining, effortless, and elegant. Among Lance’s favorite places to source ingredients for his clients’ tables are Babinski’s Farm in Water Mill and Sang Lee Farms in Cutchogue.
