In the few places that serve a good breakfast in the Hamptons, you often have to wait a long time just to get a seat. For many Hamptonites, no wait time for great food is a motivating factor for hiring a private chef.
My wife and I make the most wonderful breakfasts early in the morning at our little house in Water Mill. Sourcing the best products is what makes our breakfasts so good!
We buy all the basics such as butter, milk, tea, and coffee from King Kullen supermarket or Citarella Gourmet Market in Bridgehampton. Applewood smoked bacon, bi-colored farm fresh eggs, berries, and herbs are from Rustic Roots Organic Home Delivery service. Honey, such as lemon honey or cinnamon honey, and maple syrup are delivered from Massachusetts by Sid Wainer & Son, one of the best food purveyors on the east coast. Sid Wainer delivers to many private chefs in the Hamptons, bringing fresh produce and unique products to make every meal the same high quality you would get in a good restaurant. The pastries are from Arthur Ulster—we just love the Swiss chocolate and multigrain croissants. Juices are fresh squeezed and coffee brewed or made in the Keurig. Granola is from Milk Pail Fresh Market in Water Mill.
